Who are we?
We are the proud owners of Eley and Luchezar, our two Black Russian Terriers. We have had experience with BRTs before, and absolutely adore them. They bring warmth, love, rotection, and many amazing and memorable moments into the lives of those that are around them. In some of the photos, you will find the various members of our family alongside them, especially in our diving gallery.
Eley
Say hello to Eley! He is our 2nd BRT, known for his performance during the 2019 northquest dock diving competition. He arrived to us from Kazakhstan almost 2 years ago! Since the beginning he has had a passion for training, learning most commands within a day or two of their introduction. He has been training in several different obedience schools, most notably with Eric Straetmans.
Eley also has a strong passion for swimming. Whenever we go to the beach, he always rushes towards the water, and never wants to get out. Sometimes he even tries to chase down the boats he sees on the horizon! It's this very love for swimming that pushed us to try dock diving with him. Normally you would find lighter breeds like labradors participate in dock diving events, so it was a surprise to many when we tell them that our 70 kg dog also participated. Within a month, he learned the techniques of dock diving, participated in a competition, and recieved his [name] title!
Now, Eley lives a simpler but still exciting life. He participates in obedience and now rally classes alongside his new brother, Luchezar. They play at home every day, and enjoy each other's company. You can catch Eley and Luchezar at some events, and if you do, stop by to say hello!
